Nila really likes to pretend she's putting on make-up like mommy. Here I'd say she gets it almost just right!



These cookies are to be ornaments on our tree when they're complete. The only problem is that, now that they're finished, Nila really likes to throw them. We've already lost one to her pitching arm.

We have a new video camera, so expect lots of new Nila videos.

Nila Learns to Drive

One of Nila's new favorite things is putting the key in the ignition. She says "Nila turn it. Nila turn it."

A couple of times last week she actually did turn it!

Then she frantically tried to put it in drive. Maybe I should stop letting her have the keys...

From Nila's Second Birthday

Angie and I took Nila to the zoo today for her second birthday. Grandma Kay - the original Nila - met us there and we had a great day. The weather was beautiful and we beat the crowds by heading out early. Plus, Grandma Kay is a zoo insider, so we got to ride things for free!

After the zoo, we got ready for the Tuesday night birthday party. We knew a Tuesday night party would limit the guest list, but we all had a good time and it didn't push Nila past her limits (still in bed by 8!).
